Batsford Arboretum

Robin and I decided to visit Batsford Arboretum as the day promised sunshine and with the hour change there was a chance that I would surface earlier than usual so we could get there for opening at 10am. Glad we did as by the time we left, two and a half hours later, the place was mobbed. We asked someone as we left if it was normally this busy...turned out to be the Director of the place and he said it was the busiest he had seen it in 30 years! I think a combination of sunshine, half term, a craft fair and autumn colours did the trick.

I misplaced Rob at one point and then found him skulking in the undergrowth.....hence this image.
