Photo Journey

Our Photo Safari

Woke up this morning without a single ache or pain  from our march yesterday! So we went out again today.

This time we had different program. Instead of just taking my smartphone, I took my camera backpack with my dslr, my usual street lens (28-300), a macro (which I didn't use) and a wide angle lens, as well as my tripod. Obviously I wasn't planning to walk too far with all that gear. More photography, less exercise.

I had always wanted to investigate the marshy area where the Würm River flows out of Starnberger Lake. For some reason, I thought there was a little boardwalk through the marshes, but it was quite wild. We found a narrow mushy path which wove its way between the reeds, sometimes there were some rotting boards to trip over. However, we didn't get the romatnic scenes of the river (actually it's more a stream) that I had hoped for. The best part of our little photo safari through the wilderness was an opening with birch trees.

Some more shots in the extras, one that my husband took.
