Fire

Just a couple of months ago, a brush fire swept through this area called Sage Hills, devouring most everything in sight. I went hiking here today and was heartened to see that life is returning. Some plants like Serviceberry are coming  back as well as grasses. I saw quite a few birds including Magpie and some fellow hikers spotted a small herd of mule deer.
