Lucerne

Today we travelled from Zurich onto Strasbourg, and wanting to make the most of the unlimited travel we went via Lucerne, somewhere I've wanted to visit since planning our first trip to Switzerland, but never had the money to afford the train! Another gloomy start but it really brightened up and was a stunning day! I love Switzerland so much, it's now so familiar but still surprising and stunningly beautiful, but our wallets were begging us to leave! I guess you can't have it all. Being "in transit", we were carrying our backpacks (see extra photo) and really starting to feel it! We were so grateful for the beautiful park and the lovely warm sunshine for a chill out. Being a Sunday a lot of the shops were closed, I would love to go back and explore a bit more and maybe take a wee boat trip out on the lake.
