Oops, another goal!

The good news for Saturday was that the rain wasn't as bad as expected - so my rain poncho has yet to make its debut! The not so good news is that the Cully Cobras lost 4-0 and 4-1. Luckily, Leo never seems disheartened, however many goals they lose by. He was impressed that he made a few saves as goalie and enjoyed spending some time out of goal, getting stuck in.

He had a busy time as goalie as the other teams were way more organised than the Cobras so all the activity was in Leo's goal. He was super impressed that the team missed a penalty which he has put entirely down to his goal line wiggle - but I think had more to do with the slippery pitch!

After footie we went for pizza to feed the starving goalie and picked him up some new goalie gloves and shin pads since his existing ones are taking a bit of a pasting. Next week will be interesting as the Cully Cobras take on the Cully Scorpions in a Derby match.
