AN UNEXPECTED GREY DAY

So we stayed inside the whole morning, mostly reading.
After lunch we went for our walk and the weather felt so much better than we expected it to be, seen from the inside. No wind at all, and not many persons outside either.
We walked along the Weser towards Würgassen, enjoying the rusty colours of the trees. At several fields along the river, we met horses and it was in one of these fields that I found my blipfoto.
The horse had obviously an itch and rubbed his back against the tree.
The other horse in the field lied down and turned around in the sand, just another strategy.

My haiku:

It is from dawn till
Late that we walk and eat and
Eat and walk again

And the proverb:

Leave a jest when it pleases you best.
