An Evening Away

We have had dreadful weather at home this weekend so it was great to come up to sunny Edinburgh this afternoon. For the first time since April the evening air was warm. The smell of newly cut grass filled the air.

I took a walk along the Union Canal just as everyone was cycling home from work, jogging, dog walking, rowing and generally filling the space! So many people competing for space on the tow path, except the rowers, they were messing up the water surface!

At 9pm we needed to go out. I took the camera with my and before I got into the car I checked the scene again! Peace! Just one jogger and a duck near the Ashley Boathouse.
