Alvaro

Today we went on a tour along the Duoro river which is famous for its vineyards. At this time of year the colour of the vines is at its best - only let down today by the grey skies and dull light. We stopped off at a vineyard high up in the hills for a talk by its owner. He was so full of passion for his vines and his way of life - it was wonderful to hear. Afterwards we went to a wine tasting which was most enjoyable!
