The bridge

Little foot bridge / sheep bridge in the woods at Bassenthwaite.

Though its on a public footpath I don't think it's used much. The bridge crosses a little river that feeds Bassenthwaite Lake and the woods there are very unmanaged so lots of fabulous dead tree trunks and moss covers everything. Very beautiful and magical.

So instead of the wonderful scenes of the woods, today I just give you an iPhone pic of the bridge. But in my defence it was a little dark and Nikon was working on long exposures in there :-)
