The Poppies at YSP

We decided to visit the Yorkshire Sculpture Park near Wakefield. I have wanted to visit for some time but never managed it.

As you can see it certainly was a big crowd puller. I struggled to decide which photo to choose but this shows part of the construction as well as the poppies.

Unfortunately the lake is low at the moment due to repairs upstream. It would have really added to the effect with a drop more water.

Well worth the visit not just for the poppies. If you plan to go check the website as there is a Remembrance Sunday all ticket event on the 8th and 11th November.
