I made an apple and almond cake. Harry had a bike ride. Ex father in law came around on his new battery assisted tricycle, as his balance has not  returned since having shingles.
Later I helped Mum peel some apples.
Then once home mum phoned again to say Dad had fallen over, so Harry and I whizzed back and managed to lift him up into his chair. I made them tea and we stayed and chatted until they seemed alright.
