Farewell Bundaberg

One last visit to the Bundaberg Botanic Gardens before we fly back to Western Australia tomorrow.  It will be a sad farewell but we need to go back so that we can drive "Minimo" back to the Blue Mountains.

I have gained great comfort from my visits to the gardens.  Their are never many people there, particularly in the early mornings and it is just wonderful to be able to be at one with such an incredible display of nature at its best.

We will start our trek back to the mountains in a few days time, I still have unfinished family business of my own before I leave my home state of Western Australia.

This fairly well camouflaged ibis caught my eye this morning.
