The Flower I Didn't Plant

Last year, a wonderful flower appeared in the front garden....I never planted it, but apparently, when my father gave me seeds, Blanket Flower seeds were included!

What a lovely surprise it was when these big, cheerful flowers came to bloom! And what a treat this year, with what looks like dozens and dozens of buds on not one plant, but three!

After our wickedly hot weather last week, today felt chilly, but wonderful! I loved it when I had to don a lightweight sweater and my toes in my flipflops felt postiively cold! I know the temperatures will heat back up again, but for now, I am loving this!
