'Gum nut Flowers'

Spotted on my walk around Wattle Glen this afternoon down at Watery Gully. These always look so Aussie to me, the colours, fragrance, everything about them says Australia.

This morning was Grandparents morning up at the kids school. I met my Mum up there and we spent a bit of time in each of the kids classrooms (mainly Dylan's Room) where we were offered morning tea and then we all sat around in a circle and the grandparents chatted about how things were when they were kids. A fun morning.

More cleaning up at home this afternoon, I've now filled our skip and it's ready to be picked up. I reckon I've loaded it with at least 2 tonnes of rubbish from around our property.
