Achill Island

When Dad and I came to Ireland in June, we had a day trip to Achill Ireland and absolutely loved it. We were lucky enough to go on the most glorious day for weather.

We wanted to take Mum, Grandma and Geoff so they could experience it too. The weather wasn't as great seeing as it is October, but we were still lucky with the weather. No rain, and occasionally the sun did peep through the clouds.

We went on the beaches and went to the view points on the Island. It really was lovely and they enjoyed themselves.

We then headed back to Westport and saw the most beautiful sunset whilst looking at Crough Patrick in the distance. We were really lucky to see such a beautiful sight!

Seeing as its Grandma and Geoffs wedding anniversary today, we had a lovely meal at our favourite restaurant. The Helm. It was delicious as always and a great way to end a great day.
