We had to visit the Kelpies as we were down near the area. They are a fantastic piece of engineering on a mammoth scale. They sit beside the M9 near Falkirk and the Helix water park.
They represent the horses that used to tow the barges along the canals in days gone by. Now practically all barges and narrow boats are engine driven. This was another wonderful visitor experience. Also , I hope, a couple of extra photos,
