Pato

Today we had a wonderful lunch for Daniel's grandma's birthday at a hotel in Copacabana. However, what I thought was interesting was the huge duck (pato) on the beach. It says não vou pagar o pato on the side which means "I will not pay the duck" I'm English, however in Brazil, it means that you won't pay for the stupid mistakes the government makes. Interesting.
