Runswick Bay

As you drop down to this most magnificent bay on a late Autumn's day such as this one, it's hard to imagine a more perfect place. The pleasant late October sun lights up the golden woods that form the perfect backdrop to this jewel of the British coastline. Either side, the ancient Jurassic cliffs place protective arms around the seawater that sits now like a millpond, belying the fact that the turbulent waters of the North Sea are literally right in front of you.
