Pretty little lady!

A much better day today ....... we actually had sunshine!!!!

After sorting out stuff in the garden ...... we decided it was so lovely we just had to go out for a walk!

We headed off to Moulton Marsh nature reserve ........ so pleased we did ...... it is lovely there ....... we will definitely be going back ....... the Autumnal colours were lovely & we saw & heard quite a variety of birds :-)

We saw this little one ....... well a few of them actually ....... it is about the size of a Sparrow (maybe a fraction smaller but it was quite a long way off) ...... but we have struggled to identify it ...... our best guess is a juvenile Linnet ....... hope one of you blippers can help!!!

Thanks to you great lot I now know it is a female Reed Bunting!

First time I've seen the female so I am doubly pleased!!!!!


All in all it was a great day :-)
