Operation Christmas Child

I haven't taken part in this since I left school, so I was very excited to find out that canoe was joining in with Operation Christmas Child this year. It's a charity which encourages you to pack shoeboxes with lots of small gifts, which can then be sent to children all over the world who otherwise wouldn't get a Christmas present.

It's such a lovely idea and I think we ended up with six shoeboxes full by the end of the night. Hopefully they will be safely delivered and enjoyed by the children who receive them!
