Over the hedge

I stopped to blip this copper-coloured hedge on my way to pick up friend June in Croftamie this afternoon.

At the monthly social of the Monday Club we were treated to a slide-show of fantastic photos from the travels of one of the members. 

Since her last 'show' she and her husband have been to Japan, Iceland and Peru, so the variety of images was very interesting - everything from colourful volcanic craters in Iceland and Peruvian street markets with a railway running through them, to the ultra-modern Japanese toilet with buttons to press according to which 'treatment' the user required, plus lots of pictures of the local food in those countries.

June and I were able to catch up over the excellent tea and goodies that followed, so all in all it was a good afternoon.
