Moon rise

A stupidly early start allowed for an early finish and a chance to give the dogs a rare long walk on a Monday.

Stunning moon rise over the Wolds as our walk went from just before sunset to a bright full moon lit night with lovely moon shadows. 

I am pleased with this photo - given it was taken with the compact on maximum zoom and a hand held shot (no convenient fence posts or trees to serve as a stable mount).
