Giant Slalom

Second day of skiing in Sölden and watching the mens' FIS Ski World Cup Opening, traditionally a giant slalom. Ted Ligety (USA) won, with Thomas Fanara (France) second and Marcel Hirscher (Austria) third - nice to see the best man win.

Pictured is the last bit of the racing course and the Gletscherstadion (glacier stadium).
