Fast Friends (2)

Time for a walk in the autumn sunshine, with Jack, before my brother left this morning.

Husband has worked hard in the kitchen, hacking off old plaster and bonding plasterboard, ready for skimming... and this is how we'll stay for a while now, as tomorrow he's off to work at our daughter's, plus we have friends coming to stay.

I've been doing rather more boring things like checking in online for our flights to Portugal, six days from now.
