Bailey's Island Bridge

This bridge is made of granite slabs found locally and thus, also known as the Cribstone Bridge. We crossed over it to reach where we stayed on the last leg of our Maine journey.  We found a darling motel with a view of the bridge , good rates and warm blueberry muffins each morning.

This entire island was very scenic with many places where lobster fishermen had their pots lined up and some in already.  Lots of scenic things to see on this wee island.  Lots of historty and read about the bridge here  To read and see about the rest of our trip just click on the Maine2015 tag:)
