Jailhouse Truck!

Firstly, thank you all very much for propelling my Blip yesterday onto the Spotlight page - very gratifying. You're such a lovely bunch of coconuts!

This old Chevy truck is in the grounds of the former Alcatraz State Penitentiary. I was out there today for a look around and I also made it to lovely Sausalito for a looksee. I really like the way the light hits the side of the truck and also the inherent sense of darkness into light, given that this is the path prisoners being released from Alcatraz would have taken, when being returned to civilisation.

I almost played to the popularity crowd with this potential Blip for today: Diamond Dog, but after yesterday's success, my artistic integrity wouldn't allow it, LOL.

There is no blog post today as I've have a very full day and I'm tired, but I will be covering both days tomorrow and will link to that post tomorrow evening.
