Old fashioned sweeties
I was in Hexham this morning to meet the other Marjorie for a cup of coffee and putting the world to rights. We talked about the rights and wrongs of fictionalised accounts of real people, the film Suffragettes and Hamlet.
Why did the coffee shop have the door propped open? It was cold and draughty but the coffee was very good.
In the market I stopped to chat to this young man, helping his Mum on her sweet stall at half term. He was so engaging. The sweets may be old fashioned but the prices are not.
The extra photo is Bowly, horrified that I want to put a suitcase on the bed and pack it. She is not amused and has refused to move despite all the activity around her. At least she has not climbed into the case (yet)!
