Red roses...

Only the leaves are red at this time of the year, and actually these are Burnet Roses, so the flowers would be white.

Actually I wanted to get some shots of the blackbirds, but as Petteri came out with me, the blackbirds disappeared. Or was it because of my camera? I did get a few shots of a Eurasian bullfinch in a maple tree, but it was too far, or my lens too short.

I spent most of the day cleaning the dryer. A dusty job, but someone's gotta do it. And that someone is me.
