Champion rower
Last Friday afternoon Mr hazelh had a very bad experience with the rowing machine. Within 418 metres of the half marathon distance, which he had achieved at a record speed, the performance monitor failed. This upset Mr hazelh immensely.
This morning a replacement performance monitor arrived by post. This afternoon Mr hazelh had his revenge. His time for the half marathon is a personal best, and it places him sixth in the world in the Concept2 rankings for his age group in the heavyweight category, and top in the UK. (If he could just lose 3lb, he would be a lightweight and be in with the chance of being second in the world.)
Exercise today (for me, somewhat less energetic): walk to work (12,681 steps).
