Female Pheasant

This bird ran all along the lane in front of my car, this morning! see extras for another photo of this morning, after my horse ride.
My Dad is now in hospital, so I took my Mum to see him, this afternoon.
It is a difficult time, he is very ill but looks comfortable.
Mr P surprised me with a gift to cheer me up, on my return!
