Stuck on the M1

An accident on the southbound M1 just before the Luton Airport turn off at Junction 10 meant that I barely moved for over an hour on the way home tonight, and scuppered any chance I had of attending today's running club session at 7:00 pm. It's always important to put these things into perspective, though, and it was sobering to see the driver of a crumpled sports car being placed into the ambulance as I finally drove past the scene. I hope he or she makes a full and speedy recovery.
