A rare day off sick – I'd been awake half the night throwing up, for some unknown reason. Feeling better now, even had some Marmite on toast a wee while ago. And I got through a sizeable chunk of this, one of my favourite books, which I'm re-reading (for the umpteenth time) before I see (with some trepidation) the new film adaptation. I particularly love this passage, I suppose because I can relate to it so much.
