a sign of the times

The overnight ferry from Rotterdam arrives in Hull at around 7.00am.  Rather than eat onboard we decide to try and finish off the ‘band in a van’ theme by having breakfast in a proper transport cafe, rather than a modern roadside services establishment.

We find such a place a few miles outside Hull, but to our surprise the ‘full English Breakfast’ is also available with vegetarian sausages.

So - having deemed our trip to have been a success, we celebrate with mugs of tea, toast (white) eggs, beans and a synthetic example of the pork butcher’s art.
