The Important Things

The important things in life are sometimes the least obvious. For this little girl, that balloon is very important. But to mom, it may be the least obvious. I feel that way a lot as an photographer (observer), I see so much of life pass in front of me and there are always thoughts that pass in front of me as well. I will have to photograph some of the things that I see that bring forth thoughts.
I was passing by some shops in Jerusalem long before they were to open this morning and as I saw so many manikins inside the shops waiting to be set free, it made me think there are many of us that are just dummies waiting to be set free. I do not mean that derogatorily but just as a passing thought about the fact that when we put off this earth suit, we really get set free. Of course, that is if we have a relationship with our Creator, for only in Him is there real freedom.
