Barrenjoey Lighthouse

Today in Sydney, we were awakened at 02h30 by the sound of falling rain, and the weather has been overcast & wet all day, with much of the same forecast for tomorrow,
Fortunately we had arranged for a car today, so we took a drive up the coast to Palm Beach and the Barrenjoey Lighthouse, at the head of Pittwater.
We then drove into the Ku-ring-gai National Park and drove to the Western Head outlook opposite the lighthouse. We then drove down to Akuna Bay and on to Cottage Point, where we enjoyed beef & Guinness pot pies for lunch.
An enjoyable day out, despite the rain
