My first digital camera!

Bought in Akihabara, Tokyo, on holiday with the girl who later became my wife.
I remember the shop, the salesman, the first photo, the other photos, our first 'debate' over too many photos...lol. Trading a bunch of old books in a second-hand bookstore for my first photography book - out of date, old, but I didn't care, I read the whole thing - I was hooked. That book's still on the shelf today.
Trying to shoot in manual, realising it wasn't going to do the things the book talked about, but trying like hell to make it do them anyway...barely daring to dream that one day I might end up owning something better...a Digital SLR?? - what a dream that would be.
I can look at this little camera now and feel so damn glad I bought it that day. :-)
