So it begins ...

Travel to work in the (almost) dark and getting home in the dark.  This was the scene at Stirling station this morning.  The view from my office window is hardly any better with lights on in all the offices.  It is a very dark, gloomy day.  But I was just so glad to get back into the office today after an absence of a few weeks.  Although I've been able to work from home and have made good use of this privilege sometimes you just need to be a bit more present.

Results were out last night so lots of nice messages to send to successful students. What an inspiration they are, and we'll be seeing them at one of these next year.

I've just been informed by Blip that this is my 300th entry. Goodness!
