Lighthouses Flamborough

Another very misty (and now very wet) day. We did a get a walk in before the heavy rain. The old lighthouse is 'wrapped up' in plastic. It is the oldest surviving complete lighthouse still standing (in the UK). It was built in 1669 and is actually about 100 yards inland from the newer lighthouse. I could not find out whether it is about to be restored or whether it is a safety issue.
