What's that coming over the hill?

A very productive meeting this morning - the first Alps work of 2016 is now booked into the diary with a promise of much more to follow - Yeay!!

Since Saturday the forecast has been for rain to arrive - but each morning we've awoken to blue skies & the rain has been moved back on the forecast. Last night strong winds blew through bringing down bits of trees and slamming not fastened shutters -  it was a much more menacing sky as I set off for Domancy.

Coming out from our meeting after lunch I looked up towards the Rochers and saw this avalanche of cloud tumbling down the hill as the sky turned dark - minutes later the wind arrived and its now lashing with rain outside - but we fly home tomorrow well aware that we've managed to grab a fantastic weeks worth of weather for this time of the year.
