Yellow-fronted canary....

outside my window this morning!  I was busy working on the computer and this guy was busy eating the plant outside.  I have seen them around but they don't stay still for long!

This afternoon was my farewell party here at the Synod!  It was a nice occasion and I was given a lovely certificate of 20 years service as well as many gifts and good wishes!  I have a report to finish tomorrow and then I will be free!!

I have to admit I was very humbled today by the things which were said about me and also the gifts I received!  I am not sure I am worthy of all that was said but it made me feel special!
