Miles of trenches

It seems that everywhere we look just now there is orange and yellow plastic mesh protecting wayward souls from falling into small trenches cut out in preparation of laying fibre cables.

Their timing could be better for those that have nurtured their pavement gardens to be at their best in late spring.

They have guaranteed that it will be done by month end, that's three working days away. We will see!
