Norman

A medical day! Went to the yard with Mrs A S, spent some time Ragworting before the rain came. We then assisted the yard manager and the vet in the gelding of Norman a Shetland ex stallion!  Seen above Norman No bits , "Norma" or "Norm it" as he may become known, is just coming out of the anaesthetic and able to stand unaided again.
Some shopping and a late late lunch. Then it was a sit in the doctors and spell with one of the practice nurses to repair Mrs A S's middle finger of her right hand after a fall while walking the dogs. No bone or ligament damage luckily the wound cleaned and bandaged. Off to take up cooking and washing up duties for the next week it seems!
