Send off

I got the usual train down to Newcastle so was a bit surprised by the small stage with a PA system and a piper in full fig - actually he wasn't sending us off, he was just warming up for the arrival of the Flying Scotsman, apparently.

A horrible dreich day on Tyneside - there was a dank fog over just about everything south of Dunbar. I didn't see a glimpse of the sky (clouds!) until I was almost back in Embra.
