Capitoline, Rome

in half-light we left the Forum and ascended the Capitoline Hill, Michelangelo's piazza spectacularly lit. I climbed the stairs to get an angle on the large statue and caught the family in the distance, long given up on waiting for me. Patience, I would like to say, is a virtue.
