'tis near Halloween

Usual trip to Morrisons this morning.  There was still the noise of drilling but no leaks from the roof like last week

It was very foggy this morning and there was dampness in the air.  The day got steadily worse with heavy rain  all afternoon.  I was planning to walk down to the village but in the end I just stayed indoors.

Neil had the day off and came here late afternoon.  He wasn't sure of the new bus times/routes so he just walked here from his place and he was wet through when he arrived.. The bus that he used to get no longer exists.  The residents around here are " up in arms " about all the bus changes and petitions have been started and our MP has been written to.  Will not hold my breath for a good outcome.

I bought this Halloween themed plant in Morrisons this morning.  Only £2.
