Spotted some blue skies so headed up to Monte by bus. By the time we arrived it was raining! So we sheltered in a cafe. The rain and storm was so full on that we stayed and had lunch!

Emerged into blue skies and took the cable car back to Funchal. I spotted the row of birds on the cable car wires. It made me smile.

Thankful that we were able to get out and explore today.
