Happy Birthday to #2

It felt odd, and I was a bit sad this morning.  No big hug. No excited opening of parcels. No fruity breakfast.  Now that #2 is married and living down south, this is the first time we've had no boys at home for a family birthday.

We didn't have cake, but made up for it by lighting a candle, filling a wine glass and singing "Happy Birthday to You" on skype this evening.
