Watching out for you

I was walking back to the flat in Edinburgh tonight when I saw this .

I am almost tempted to say no more and let others work it out but it is , of course, an owl and it is hard to miss as it forms part of a massive advertising poster which hangs from the scaffolding which surrounds a building being converted to a hotel in Greenside Place. .

I was overwhelmed by the image and the lighting and want to go back and photograph it again , probably from a distance next time.

Tonight, however, the close up worked best as crowds from the Playhouse streamed past.
