What Did One Flea Say To The Other?

An early start for me today as I had to be in at Waverley Station before 8am to get a train to Cambuslang, as a colleague and I were attending a meeting there.  We had never done the journey by public transport before, but we were pleasantly surprised by journey which went snoothly.  We arrived at Cambuslang Station in good time but unfortunately it was pouring with rain.  Undaunted we set off to our destination and thankfully the rain eased off, so we were not too damp when we arrived at our meeting.  The return journey was not quite so efficient.  Firstly we took the wrong road to the station, so we had a longer walk-but the rain stayed off for most of the way.  We had to head into Glasgow Central to get a train back to Edinburgh.  We took a train back from Glasgow Central, only to get stuck somewhere near West Calder due to a points failure.  We got back to the office an hour later than we had planned.  In my short time in the office I was unable to get my computer to load up my e-mails or access any documents, so I think a call to IT might be in order tomorrow morning.

My train home was then delayed slightly and the announcement on the train said this was due to a points failure at West Calder which had resulted in disruption at Haymarket.  This made me smile!

Here is BB’s new joke book, bought from the school book fair.  He has had great fun reading the jokes out to us - and it has certainly made him giggle!
