Dan de Lion

The fields here are full of these huge dandelions. This seed head is at least 9cm across. I just happened to try taking the colour out of the image, and it turned out blue. My favourite colour.


The dandelion clock is a very strange clock.
It doesn't say tick, and it doesn't say tock.
It hasn't a cuckoo. It hasn't a chime.
I don't think it can really tell me the time.

Belated Edit: since posting this have found out that it is not a dandelion at all but Goat's beard, a member of the daisy family. Live and learn.
